	Ripples from SMS was started by Mrs. Marjie Smith. She was awarded the Ripple Effect Teacher Award by the Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation in October of 2023.

Mrs. West and Mrs. Sams work tirelessly for the Benjamin Gilkey Fund for Innovative Pediatric Cancer Research.

Each year Mrs. West and Mrs. Sams spearhead “Go Gold!” for donations from SMS to the Benjamin Gilkey Fund, in honor of Banjamin and the Gilkey Family.
